Job Description:
PDS Defense, Incis seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk 3 in
Everett, WA.Seeking a high energy, dynamic team member for a
Shipping/Receiving role to support sustaining business for three
value streamsThe successful candidate will provide critical support
following inventory procedures for receiving and shippingIn this
position you will be reporting to the Logistics SupervisorPerforms
a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory
control, WIP, kitting, shipping, and receiving operations in
accordance with established procedures.Key Responsibilities:Receive
shipment requirements for delivery and follow procedures to include
routing guidelines.Prepare shipping papers and ensure completeness
of details and requirements based on Global Trade compliance and
Government Agency requirements.Book shipments with various couriers
and forwarders.Adhere to functional group KPI and provide feedback
for opportunities for continuous improvement.Maintain records and
keep documents of all shipments based on requirements.Load/unload
inbound/outbound shipments validating material against shipping
documentation.Use of material handling equipment to include screw
guns, etc.Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts,
pallet jacks, etc.General housekeeping.Perform related duties as
required within the scope of this job function.Required
Qualifications:High school diploma or educational equivalent.Lift
up to 50 lbsunaided.US citizenship.Obtain forklift
certification.Computer skills to include data entry of received
materials, entering shipping information, etc.Preferred
Qualifications:Knowledge of SAP and Excel (look ups, pivot
tables).Manufacturing industry experience.
